POLICE Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. yesterday led the inspection of bus terminals in Central Luzon in preparation for the influx of passengers for the long Holy Week vacation.
According to Hidalgo, police personnel are already conducting physical check-up in the various terminals in the region.
Security is being tightened even for those entering malls and churches, he said.
During his inspection of bus terminals, Hidalgo boarded a bus and talked with the driver and passengers.
“We want our commuters to feel safe and secure, this is why we conduct inspections,” said Hidalgo.
“Also, we are grateful for the support of the different government agencies, as well as our force multipliers, to guarantee the safety of the general public this Holy Week and entire summer vacation,” the Central Luzon top cop added.
