A CONTRACTOR allegedly addicted to e-sabong and lost thousands of money in bets robbed an online-cockfighting outlet in Rosario, Cavite.
Suspect Christian Rodriguez, 40, is being hunted by the police.
An investigation showed Rodriguez gambled three times in the outlet but lost.
The suspect, who wanted to gamble again, went to the betting station and offered his motorcycle as payment.
The supervisor of the online-cockfighting outlet refused the offer until the suspect pulled out a gun and declared a holdup.
Police said Rodriguez fled with some P380,000 in cash.
Authorities said Rodriguez is also facing complaints from owners of houses he left unfinished.
Rodriguez allegedly got advance payments from the owners of the houses.
The suspect’s live-in partner said Rodriguez is not a bad person but admitted the suspect was addicted to e-sabong.
