MEMBERS of the Cordillera police arrested a 41-year-old resident of Benguet for possession and distribution of counterfeit medicines.
Cordillera Police Regional Office director Brig. Gen. Ronald Lee said nabbed was Edilberto Traboco alias “Edel,” a resident of Bgy. Bulalacao in Mankayan, Benguet.
Seized from the suspect were various fake medicines, including antibiotics, pain relievers, mucolytic and paracetamol.
Lawmen raided the house of Traboco after receiving an information that he distributing fake medicines.
Traboco is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 8203 or the Special Law on Counterfeit Drugs.
