A MAN accused of killing his live-in partner on Friday was arrested by the police in Angeles City.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. earlier ordered the Angeles police to resolve the death of the victim within 48 hours.
Angeles City police OIC Col. Jay Cumugad said victim Mylene Lising Garcia, 39, a furniture worker and a resident of Purok 6B, Visayas Area, Jaoville Compound, Bgy. Pandan, Angeles City, was found dead inside the compound Friday afternoon.
The suspect was identified as the victim’s live-in partner, Danilo Bero Calderon Jr., 42, a resident of Bgy. Capaya 2, Angeles City.
A neighbor found Garcia’s body due to a foul smell emanating from the vacant lot adjacent to his house.
Responding personnel of the Angeles City police Station 3 found the victim, which was in an advanced state of decomposition, and immediately launched a follow-up operation that led to the arrest of in Bgy. Dolores in Porac, Pampanga.
