CASES of the dreaded coronavirus disease-19 in General Trias City, Cavite continues to drop with only single digit being added to its daily cases based on the data of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit issued yesterday.
General Trias has recorded yesterday only nine new cases out of the total 77 active cases.
Most of the cases are in strict home quarantine (61 cases), 16 were admitted to GenTri Ligtas Covid-19 facility inside the Sports Park in Bgy. Santiago, wherein 61 of them are asymptomatic, 15 with mild symptoms and one severe, and no critical case.
Thirteen out of the 33 villages are now COVID-19 free.
Meanwhile, the registration for the pediatric vaccination of children aged 5 to 11 are now open via online registration through
Dr. Jonathan Luseco, GenTri City health officer told residents 18 years old and above from Categories A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 and Rest of Adult Population that walk-ins are allowed for 1st dose and booster doses.
For pediatric vaccination, those 5 to 11 years old and 12 to 17 years old may register using the link: https://generaltrias.gov.ph/covax/pedia.
Some 220,650 adult population and 23,566 of those aged 12 to 17 have been inoculated in the city.
Around 468,116 total vaccines have been administered, wherein 237,428 received their dose) and 230,688 got their second those of the vaccine.
