Pangasinan – The Department of Health – Ilocos Region has donated a total of nine (9) land ambulances in the province Pangasinan to provide emergency care to sick or injured patients and provide them the needed transport between hospitals.

“The land ambulances were distributed to rural health units (RHUs) in priority areas of the provinces to increase health services access in the communities as part of the Universal Health Care Program. Ito ay gagamitin bilang prehospital medical care or emergency response vehicle dahil kumpleto ito ng medical equipment upang makapagbigay ng first aid treatment at makakapagbigay ng continuum of care papunta sa mga health facilities,” Regional Director Paula Paz M. “To all the recipients RHUs, I urged you to set aside funds for the maintenance and operation of these land ambulances including a dedicated driver to manage the vehicle.”

Alagaan po natin ito, huwag po nating gawin pang-service ng mga empleyado dahil ito po ay galing sa mga buwis ng ating mamamayan and ensure also that they are used according to their purpose,” she added.
