The Department of Health (DOH) – Ilocos Region together with the local government of Malasiqui, Pangasinan yesterday launched the “Bakunahang Bayan Part 2: PINASLAKAS Special Vaccination Days” which will be conducted from December 5-8, 2022.
The three-day vaccination aims to reach the national goals for vaccination and booster coverage in the country by making primary series and booster doses more accessible through the settings-based approach with the vaccination rollout focusing on service delivery close to homes, communities and workplaces.
Regional Director Paula Paz M. Sydiongco stated that this is the health department’s way of safeguarding every eligible population this coming holiday season.
Sydiongco added that they will continue their customary house-to-house visits campaign for those who can’t go to vaccination centers due to health reasons.
The regional office together with the Pangasinan provincial health office will again set up vaccination sites in various public places including malls, markets and plazas.
