NAG- deploy agad ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) ng Inter-Agency Task Force sa Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) kaninang umaga makaraang makatanggap ng bomb threat ngayong araw,Setyembre 8
Dali-daling ininspeksyo ang pasilidad at mas hinigpitan pa ang seguridad ng MRT-3 upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga pasahero.
Sinabi ni DOTr Office for the Transportation Security (OTS) Undersecretary Mao Aplasca na ipinadala sa pamamagitan ng email ang nasabing bomb threat.
“Upon receipt of an alleged bomb threat via e-mail early this morning, Transportation Secretary Jaime J. Bautista immediately activated an Inter-Agency Task Force composed of the DOTr Office for the Transportation Security (OTS), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Cybercrime Investigation Coordinating Center, Philippine National Police (PNP), and Railway Security” dagdag pa nito.
Ang IATF ay binubuo ng Transportation Security(OTS), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)-Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), Quezon City Police District (QCPD) at ng railway security.
Hindi naman nagsuspinde ng biyahe ang tren at naging maayos ngayong araw ang operasyon ng MRT3.
