
POLICE are pursuing the killer of a female student who was found stabbed dead in her home in Angeles City on Saturday night.
Angeles City Police Station 1 commander Maj. Alfred Andal identified the victim as Juana Mae Maslang, 18, a Grade 12 student and a resident of Jesus St., Purok 4, Bgy. Pulungbulu, Angeles City.
The victim’s mother, Jennet Maslng, 46, told police that they left Juana Mae alone in their home.
Juana Mae’s uncle, who went to the Andal’s house to ask for food, discovered the grissly murder.
The uncle entered the house and saw the backdoor open. He immediately informed Jennet.
Jennet rushed to their bedroom to check on Juana Mae and she was shocked to see her daughter bloodied and lying on the floor.
They immediately brought Juana Mae to Sacred Heart Hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
Scene of the Crime operatives arrived and processed the crime scene.
Police are looking into robbery as motive for the killing.
