POLICE on Tuesday arrested a man for violation of the Comelec gun ban and illegal gambling in Bataan.Nabbed was Rolando Baltazar alias “Buknoy,” 19, of Bario Bayabas, Bgy. Salian, Abucay Bataan.
In a report to Bataan police acting director Col. Romell Velasco, Abucay police chief Maj. Dennis Duran said his men went to Sitio Kana-Kana, Bgy. Salian, Abucay, Bataan in response to an information of an ongoing illegal gambling in the area.Baltazar was caught while in the act of playing “pusoy.”
His companions identified only as alias “Nikka,” alias “Mata” and alias “Jaja” eluded arrest.Seized from Baltazar were one plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, an improvised pistol, one loaded shotgun , one set of playing cards and P270 in bet money.
The suspect was charged with violations of Presidential Decree 1602 or the Anti-Illegal Gambling Law, Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and the Omnibus Election Coden
