A 42-YEAR-OLD Japanese engineer on Thursday was found hanging and dead on a bridge in Pampanga.
The victim was Takeoka Kazuki, a Japanese engineer billeted at Rm. 516, Midori Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, said a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by Mabalacat City police chief Lt. Col. Abraham Abayari.
The CDC PSD Command Center at Clark Freeport Zone said they were informed of the incident.
Yim Seungchan, 29, a Korean co-worker of Kazuki at Texas Instruments located inside the Clark Freeport Zone, confirmed the identity of the victim.
Seungchan told police that the night before Kazuki was found dead, they went to their own room and agreed to meet in the hotel lobby at 8 a.m. the next day to go to work together.
However, Kazuki did not show up at the hotel lobby until he was found hanging on the bridge.
