ALBAY 2nd District Representative Joey Salceda is leading the race for governor in the upcoming Eleksyon 2025, according to a recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
The survey, commissioned by Lloyd Ian Zaragoza, found that 38% of Albay voters favor Salceda as their next governor.
Meanwhile, 30% of respondents remain undecided as the May 2025 midterm elections approach. Former Albay Governor Noel Rosal secured 29% voter preference, making the race highly competitive. Rosaler Sara Jr. trailed far behind with just 0.5%.
With a significant portion of voters yet to decide, the competition between Salceda and Rosal is expected to intensify in the coming months.
