HOUSE appropriations committee chair Rep. Zaldy Co expressed full support for the judiciary’s proposed P82.4 billion 2025 budget, citing the urgent need to address case delays and court congestion that threaten the nation’s justice system.
Co recognized the judiciary’s strategic plan for judicial innovations as a crucial step towards resolving these issues. The plan includes creating a Supreme Court management committee, digitizing judiciary libraries, and adopting new regulations to enhance efficiency.
