MAYOR Crisostomo Garbo of Mabalacat City in Pampanga has offered special programs for newly-graduates and unemployed Mabalaquenians.
The move is to help address the nation’s problem on unemployment,
The special programs include the collaboration between Mabalacat City College and Philippine Railways Institute Interim Training Center.
Garbo said this will open opportunities for the Crimson Tribe to be involved and excel in another field, especially in the construction of railroad school facilities along the North-South Commuter Railway depot in Clark.
Another program will be the Golf Caddie Academy, which aims to provide training of applicants to become dignified golf caddies.
“Maganda ang pasahod at tips sa mga nagka-caddie sa golf. Isa itong marangal na hanapbuhay,” the Mabalacat mayor said.
Known for being a problem solver, Garbo has been consistent in finding ways for his unemployed constituents to have a sustainable livelihood and dignified employment opportunities.
Last month, the third batch of trained Mabalaquenian farmers were deployed to South Korea under the seasonal workers program.
