THE intensified police operations by the Bulacan police led to the arrest of some 35 lawbreakers in the province.
A report to Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo showed that a series of anti-drug operations launched by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Meycauayan, San Jose Del Monte, San Ildefonso, Bocaue, Norzagaray, the Provincial Intelligence Unit, Plaridel, Special Operations Unit3-Philippine Drug Enforcement Group, and the Malolos police have hauled to prison 22 drug suspects.
Some 67 sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money were seized.
All arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Tracker teams of Meycauayan, San Jose Del Monte, Guiguinto, Obando, Bulacan Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Provincial Field Unit, joint personnel of the Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and San Jose Del Monte, joint personnel of Bustos and Bulacan 2nd PMFC, and joint operatives of the Bulacan 1st PMFC, Angat, Guiguinto and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 arrested 13 wanted persons.
Arnedo vowed that the Bulacan police is unwavering in their anti-drug offensive and in tracking down wanted persons as ordered by Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr..
He added that the operations were part of the peace and security framework of the PNP dubbed Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan, and Kaunlaran (M+K+K=K).
