Magnitude 5.3 quake jolts Camarines Norte

A MAGNITUDE 5.3 earthquake jolted Camarines Norte yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The tectonic quake struck 19 km. northeast of Tinaga Island at 1:05 p.m. yesterday.

It was 1 km. deep.

Intensity 2 was felt in Quezon City.
