OPERATIVES arrested a man accused of killing a female trader in Malvar Batangas on Thursday.
The 43-year-old suspect, a broker residing in Bgy. San Fernando, Malvar town, was nabbed six hours after killing businesswoman, Eufemia Buno, 55, at 7: 15 a.m. on Thursday in Bgy. Santiago, Malvar town.
In a report by Batangas police OIC Col. Pedro Soliba to Police Regional Office 4A director Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., the victim was in her convenience store when the two suspects arrived on a motorcycle.
Witnesses said the backrider approached and shot the victim twice before fleeing.
One of the suspects was arrested in a follow-up operation.
Authorities are investigating if money had something to do with the killing.
