HANDA na sa darating na long weekend holiday ang Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South) sa ‘exodus’ ng mga motorista mula Abril 6 hanggang Abril 10, 2023.
Inaasahan ng toll road operator ang mahigit 10% hanggang 15% na pagtaas sa bilang ng mga sasakyang dadaan sa mga high-speed road networks nito, mula sa karaniwang 160,000 daily travelers sa Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), 16,000 sa CAVITEX C5 Link, at 34,000 sa Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), sa kasagsagan ng long weekend.
Para makatulong sa pagpapaginhawa sa biyahe ng mga motorista, inilagay ng MPT South ang operasyon nito sa ‘high alert’ status at muli nitong bubuhayin ang “Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko (SMSK)” Motorist Assistance Program mula 6AM ng Abril 5 hanggang 6AM ng Abril 11, 2023 sa mga expressway. Dadagdagan nito ang on-ground personnel gaya ng traffic marshall, toll assists, standby emergency medical services, at incident response teams na tutugon sa mga nangangailangang motorista.
Sa ilalim ng programa, libre ang towing services para sa CLASS 1 vehicles patungo sa pinaka malapit na exit sa nabanggit na petsa. Katuwang ng MPT South ang joint venture partner na Philippine Reclamation Authority, sa pamamagitan ng operator nito na PEA Tollway Corporation (PEATC), sa pagpapatakbo ng SMSK program sa CAVITEX.
Bukas rin 24/7 ang mga tanggapan ng toll road company para sa umalalay sa mga motorista sa mga sumusunod: 24/7 Customer Service Centers, 24/7 Customer Care Hotline 1-35000, at mga 24/7 social channels (Facebook: fb.com/cavitexpressway, fb.com/OfficialCALAX, at Twitter accounts: twitter.com/caviteXpressway, twitter.com/OfficialCALAX).
“We always encourage our motorists to avail of the free Easytrip RFID and ensure sufficient load balance in their Easytrip RFID for smoother travel. This makes toll transaction quicker, more efficient, helping reduce traffic congestion especially now that we are almost at the pre-pandemic level and more cars are seen traversing the roads,” ani Mr. Raul L. Ignacio, President and General Manager ng MPT South.
“Easytrip RFIDs can now be used on all toll roads in Luzon,” paalala ni Ignacio. Kailangan lamang i-enroll ng mga Easytrip RFID users sa Autosweep ang kanilang account para magamit ito sa mga non-MPTC toll roads.”
Ang mga Easytrip services sa Customer Service Centers ng CAVITEX C5 Link at CALAX ay mananatiling bukas sa holiday sa regular nitong schedule (Reloading-24/7, Installation at Autosweep Enrollment- 5AM hanggang 10PM), habang 24/7 naman sa CAVITEX Customer Service Centers -Manila at Cavite bound (maliban sa Biyernes Santo na hanggang 12AM lamang). Maaari ring mag reload at mag check ng balanse ang mga motorista sa papamagitan ng online app na MPT DriveHub na magagamit sa mga IOS at Android devices. Makikita rin dito ang mga passages sa toll plaza, listahan ng toll fee, at kondisyon ng trapiko sa mga MPTC expressways.
Bukod dito, hinikayat din ng MPT South ang mga ‘ka-biyahero’ na sulitin ang long weekend at mag magtungo sa mga magagandang destinasyon sa South na mabilis na mararating gamit ang mga toll road ng MPT South. Para sa mga nagnanais na makapunta sa iba’t ibang exciting adventures at pasyalan sa mga probinsya ng Cavite at Laguna, ang social channel ng ‘Biyaheng South’ Facebook, Tiktok (@biyahengsouth), at Instagram (@biyahengsouthph) ay makatutulong sa pagbibigay ng rekomendasyon. Maaaring bisitahin ng mga ka-biyahero ang garden capital ng Silang, ang historical sites sa Kawit at Imus, ang Amadeo na kilala bilang cofee capital, at iba pa.
Ang MPTC ay ang pinakamalaking toll road developer at operator sa bansa.
