
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba, Laguna — A Chinese national who was reported missing was found alive in San Jose, Batangas.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 4A Director Brig. Gen. Carlito M. Gaces identified the victim as Wang Pengxiang, a resident of Coast Residences, Pasay City.
According to a police report, Pengxiang approached a personnel of the Double A Gasoline Station in San Jose and tried to talk in Chinese.
The gasoline station employee, who could not understand the victim, asked the help of the village officials in Bgy. Aguila in San Jose.
Village councilor Nancy Mitra accompanied the Chinese national to the San Jose Police Station.
The San Jose police immediately coordinated with the Office of the Anti-Kidnapping Group in Camp Crame, Quezon City, who confirmed that Pengxiang was reported to them missing.
An investigation showed Pengxiang was kidnapped by several Chinese men on July 6.
Last Sunday, he was dropped off by his alleged abductors in the boundaries of Batangas City and San Jose.
The victim then walked his way to the gasoline station, where he asked for help.
