Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) arrested the no.10 most wanted person in PRO-CALABARZON for child sexual abuse in a joint manhunt operation yesterday.
Laguna Police Provincial Director PCol.Rogarth Campo identified the accused as James Bon y Aligato , 27 , barker, and presently residing at 117 Cosio St., Brgy. Poblacion 5, Santa Cruz, Laguna.
Officer-in-Charge of Sta Cruz Municipal Police Station PLtCol.Paterno Domondon Jr., , together with personnel of Luzon Field Unit, Women and Children Protection Center arrested the accused in a manhunt operation at 3:15 p.m. at Brgy. San Pablo Sur, Santa Cruz, Laguna.
The joint operation was conducted by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Law, sexual abuse under sec. 5 (B) of R.A. 7610 (3 Counts), and for the crime of lascivious conduct issued on March 1, 2022, at the Regional Trial Court, Branch 26 in Santa Cruz, Laguna.
The accused is now in the custody of Sta Cruz MPS with a bail of Php 2,000,000.00 was recommended for his provisional liberty.
