THE OFW Party List has made a significant leap in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) January 2025 Pre-Election Survey, climbing from rank 29 in December 2024 to rank 14 in January 2025. Its voter preference rating rose from 0.97% to 1.49%, signaling increasing public awareness and support for its advocacies.
Currently serving in the 19th Congress, the OFW Party List, led by Rep. Marissa “Del Mar” Magsino, is vying for reelection in the upcoming midterms. Should it secure enough votes, it will earn its second term in the House of Representatives.
This upward trend in the survey strengthens its chances of continuing its legislative work for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families.
The OFW Party List has been at the forefront of addressing key OFW concerns, including Magna Carta for Seafarers, Internet voting, repatriation assistance, anti-human trafficking, and stronger labor protections. With 156 party-lists competing for congressional seats, its rise in ranking reflects the growing recognition of its mission to advocate for the rights and welfare of millions of OFWs worldwide.
