
THE Philippine National Police’ Oplan Pagtugis drive on Friday has hauled to jail wanted person in Calabarzon.
Arrested was Joewar Sambajon in an operation in Naic, Cavite.
According to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Regional Field Unit 4A chief Lt. Col. Joel Manuel Ana, elements of the CIDG-Cavite Provincial Field Unit, together with the Cavite Provincial Mobile Force Company, 401st A MC Regional Mobile Force Battalion 4A, Maritime Cavite, and the Naic police conducted the operation.
The suspect was caught based on a warrant of arrest for two counts of frustrated murder issued by Judge Josel Lorenzo dela Rosa, Acting Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 134, Tagaytay City, Cavite on March 19, 2018, with P400,000 bail recommended.
Ana said the suspect was involved in a stabbing incident on April 24, 2017 in Bgy. Narra 1, Silang Cavite, wherein the victims were identified as
Vincent Brando Bacaoco and Jonel Cahilig
According to the investigation, the victims, and suspects Sambajon and Mark Jeric Arcebuche were having drinks in a birthday party in the village when they engaged in a heated argument that led to a fistfight.
The victims left the place of incident. However they were followed by the suspects and upon reaching Blk. 36 of the said barangay, the suspects stabbed the victims.
Both victims luckily survived the knife attack.
