SAN PEDRO CITY, Laguna — MORE than 1,000 residents of Barangay Landayan received essential relief goods on Tuesday through the joint efforts of Laguna Governor Sol Aragones and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The distribution activity, held in partnership with the local government of San Pedro, aimed to provide immediate assistance to families affected by recent calamities and economic hardships.
Governor Aragones personally led the relief operations, ensuring that food packs and other basic necessities reached the most vulnerable sectors of the community. Local barangay officials also played a key role in organizing the smooth and orderly distribution of aid.
The initiative forms part of the province’s ongoing commitment to support Lagunenses in times of crisis — a reflection of the governor’s advocacy for a “GOByernong may SOLusyon.”
