A controlled delivery operation led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 3 has hauled to jail a male claimant following the confiscation of some 458 grams of imported shabu worth at least P3,114,400.
According to PDEA-CL, the parcel containing the illegal substances originated from Philadelphia, United States and was sent to Adrian Lagar, whose real name is Adrian Lagarde, 31, of Bgy. Lucban, Bangcal, Makati City Combined elements of the PDEA – Pampanga Provincial Office, PDEA – Regional Office 3 Airport Interdiction Unit, Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Clark, PDEA – National Capital Region and the local police conducted the operation, which resulted in the arrest of Lagarte.
The PDEA-CL said the parcel arrived at the Port of Clark last July 3 and was declared as a bread toaster and consigned to Lagarte.
The suspect will be charged with violation of Section 4 ( importation of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165.
