PBBM, Speaker Romualdez, PH delegation visit Pearl Harbor Memorial
PRESIDENTFerdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, and members of the Philippine delegation that include Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez and AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner, Jr. are accompanied by Adm. John C. Aquilino, 26th Commanding General, United States Indo-Pacific Command on board a VIP barge for a tour around Ford Island. They are en route to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday (Hawaii time) where President Marcos offered a wreath at the memorial marking the resting place of over 1,000 sailors and Marines killed on USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.
