PRO3 cops nab 4 murder suspects in pursuit operations

CENTRAL Luzon operatives on Sunday arrested four murder suspects during a hot pursuit operation in Nueva Ecija.

Nabbed were Emmanuel Payag, 42;   Efren Duyon,  56; Modesto Duyon, 49;  and Jojo Rapadas, all farmers residing in  Bgy. Casile.

A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. showed that 55-year-old farmer  Elemito Dela Cruz, of Bgy. Casile, Llanera, was found dead, with gunshot wounds in the head and chest, at a farm in Bgy. Gomez,  Sunday noon.

During the investigation, the police were able to  identify  the suspects.

Officers put out a chase and cornered the four in Bgy. Bagumbayan.

Confiscated from the suspects were one cal. .45 pistol, two cal. .30 guns and assorted magazine assemblies, and live bullets.

Charges for murder and violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act were filed against the arrested suspects.

“The arrest resulted from immediate reporting of the crime and prompt response of our police troops. We continue to assure the public that Central Luzon cops are giving its best efforts to prevent and solve crimes and uphold the rule of law,” Hidalgo said.
