THE Police Regional Office 3 on Monday culminated the month-long celebration of the 28th Police Community Relations Month with the giving of awards to outstanding police uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the region.
The awarding was held at the PRO3 Patrol Hall in Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando in Pampanga, which coincided with last Monday’s flag-raising ceremony.
National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) 3 Director attorney Julieta Rañeses was the guest of honor and speaker in the occasion.
The culmination of the 28th Police Community Relations, with this year’s theme “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa para sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan,” was highlighted by the presentation of awards and recognition to deserving PRO3 commissioned and non- commissioned personnel and offices/units that supported and contributed to various police community relation activities within Region 3.
The awardees were: Individual Awards: Outstanding RCADD – RMFB3 received by Lt. Col. Jay Dimaandal; Outstanding PPO – Tarlac PPO received by Col. Erwin Sanque; Outstanding PMFC – 1ST PMFC Zambales PPO received by Maj. Mark Louie Sigua; Outstanding CPO – Olongapo CPO received by Col. Carlito Grijaldo; Outstanding CMFC – Olongapo CMFC received by Maj. Joan Sibayan; Outstanding City Police Station – Tarlac CPS received by Lt. Col. Evangeline Ortiz; Outstanding Municipal Police Station (CLASS A) – Sta. Maria MPS, Bulacan PPO received by Lt. Col. Christian Alucod; Outstanding Municipal Police Station (CLASS B) – Masinloc MPS, Zambales PPO received by Maj. Jonathan Bardaje; Outstanding Municipal Police Station (CLASS C) – Cabangan MPS, Zambales PPO received by Maj. Anthony Berdonar; Outstanding PCAD Senior PCO – Col. Marites Salvadora; Outstanding PCAD Junior PCO – Lt. Col. The month-long celebration included different activities that underscored the importance of a solid partnership between the police and the community in the effective maintenance of peace and order and community development.
Every year, the month of July is declared as Police Community Relations Month, with the National Police Commission as its lead agency.
