STEPPED-UP manhunt operations by Central Luzon cops resulted in the arrest of most wanted persons in Bulacan, Pampanga, and Zambales, Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. yesterday said.
In Bulacan, Edmar Mones, the no. 8 most wanted in the province, was arrested by members of the Marilao police , together with the Bulacan Provincial Warrant Team, in Bgy. Lambakin.
Mones was arrested for statutory rape. No bail was recommended.
In Pampanga, two most wanted persons were arrested in separate manhunt operations. They were identified as Lloyd Nicole Guevarra, the alleged leader of a crime group operating in Bulacan, who was arrested for robbery; and Jayson Bon, a most wanted person in San Luis held for statutory rape.
In Zambales, personnel of the Subic police, together with the Zambales Provincial Intelligence Unit, Zambales 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Zambales 1st PMCF served a warrant of arrest in Bgy. Calapacuan, Subic against Enrico Macabenta for three counts of violation of Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse,. Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
According to Hidalgo, they will launch more intensified operations to put to jail all law offenders.
