Quezon vice mayor, councilor hurt in road accident

A VICE MAYOR and a councilor were injuredin a road crash in Pitogo, Quezon.
Police identified the injured as Pitogo Vice Mayor Paul Timothy Villaflor, 42; and town councilor Alexander Abrencillo Mosquite, 43.
The road crash happened at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Bgy. Amontay, Pitogo town.
Villaflor was driving his Toyota RAV 4, with Mosquite as his passenger, when he lost control of the vehicle while approaching a curved portion of the road.
The SUV hit a house fence and an electric post owned by Quezon Electric Cooperative (QUEZELCO).
On impact, the duo suffered injuries.
Villaflor and Mosquite were rushed to RAKKK Hospital in Gumaca, Quezon for treatment.
