Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez provides financial support to Filipino athletes competing in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. The Speaker extended his well-wishes and thanked them for bringing honor to the country. Led by Samahang Weightlifting ng Pilipinas President Monico Puentevella, the Filipino Olympians include John Ceniza, Elreen Ando and Vanessa Sarno (all in weightlifting) and Joanie Delgaco (rowing) paid a courtesy call on the Speaker at his office in the House of Representatives Wednesday (May 22, 2024).
