TINGOG Party-list, led by Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Rep. Jude Acidre, alongside House Speaker Martin Romualdez, continue their mission to bring government services nearer to Filipinos with its recently concluded Ayuda sa Kapos Ang Kita (AKAP) programs in Quezon City and San Juan City, and the unveiling of two new Tingog Centers in the same areas.
On Thursday, August 29, the team distributed P3,000 each for 1,000 beneficiaries in Project 4, Quezon City.
A Tingog Center in the same area was also launched, as attended by Cong. Franz Pumaren, Brgy. Captain Roberto Matty Perez, Councilors Chuckie Antonio, Julian Coseteng, and Luigi Pumaren.
“Tingog remains committed to helping Filipinos, especially the poorest of the poor,” Rep. Acidre said. “We are constantly expanding our reach through our centers, that has now reached 136 nationwide. We aim to establish a total of 200 Tingog Centers nationwide before this year ends.”
On Friday, August 30, Tingog visited San Juan City to distribute P3,000 AKAP funds to 1,000 beneficiaries.
A new Tingog Center was likewise unveiled today in the area to make Tingog services more accessible to residents. In attendance were Congw. Bel Zamora, Mayor Francis Zamora, Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili, and the LGU of San Juan.
Located on the 2nd Floor of Brgy. Marilag Multipurpose Building in Project 4, Quezon City and in F. Sevilla St., Brgy. Pedro Cruz, San Juan City, the centers aim to be a community hub that provides accessible support to residents.
“Tingog Centers aim to ensure that government programs and initiatives reach the grassroots level effectively to improve the quality of life and promote inclusive development,” Rep. Acidre concluded.
