POLICE on Tuesday arrested three “high-value” targets and seized more than P788,000 worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Angeles City.
Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. said arrested by joint operatives of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit and the Angeles City Police Station 2 in an anti-illegal drug operation in Pampang Public Market, Severino St., Bgy. Lourdes North West, Angeles City were Jerjen Pineda and Arnold Dayrit, both “high-value” targets.
Confiscated from the duo were nine plastic sachets containing shabu weighing more or less 60 grams worth P408,000, the marked and boodle money, a black motorcycle, and a pouch.
Members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Angeles City PNP arrested Joseph Lim, another “high- value” target , and his cohort Desiree Aspiras in an entrapment on Kalayaan Extension, Bagong Bayan, Bgy. Cutcut, Angeles City.
Seized were seven plastic sachets of shabu weighing approximately 56 grams worth P380,800, the marked money, and 14 pieces of boodle money.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
Hidalgo commended the Angeles City police for another accomplishment and vowed the Central Luzon police force will continue to stop the spread of illegal drugs in the region.
