A report to Criminal Investigation Detection Group 4A regional chief Col. Marlon Santos identified the arrested suspects as Hazel Marasigan, 41, a businesswoman and a resident of 32, Road 13, Cor Road 6, GSIS Subdivision, Talipapa South Caloocan; and Ryan Cornelio, 35, a driver, of Bgy. 6 Cuenca, Batangas.
Members of the CIDG-Batangas Provincial Field Unit under Maj. Jet Sayno, together with the Batangas Highway Patrol Group, and the Cuenca Municipal Police, arrested Marasigan in an operation in Bgy. 7, Bliss, Cuenca town last January 15.
The arrest was made based on a warrant for violation of the New Anti- Carnapping Act of 2016 (RA 10683) issued by Hon. Annielyn Medes-Cabelis, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, National Capital Judicial Region , Pasig City, with a P300,000 recommended bail
Sayno said Marasigan is ranked 3 in the list of most wanted persons in the provincial level in Batangas.
Cornelio was caught by virtue of the same warrant of arrest.
A P300,000 bail was recommended for Cornelio’s temporary liberty
Police said Cornelio is ranked 2 in the most wanted persons list of the Batangas PPO.
TWO most wanted persons were arrested by joint operatives in separate operations in Batangas.
