THE local government unit of Carmona in Cavite on Wednesday launched Bata V.I.P ka sa Carmona vaccination incentive program to encourage parents and students to get vaccinated and protected against Covid-19.
Carmona Mayor Dahlia Loyola, Vice Mayor Cesar Ines Jr. and Municipal Health Office head Dr. Homer Aguinaldo led the launching at the town plaza.
The program provides cash incentives to all students who have been completely vaccinated against Covid-19 .
Students from Kinder to Grade 12 in the municipality will receive P500 cash if they complete the 1st dose, 2nd dose, 1st booster and 2nd booster shots.
Parents and guardians will receive the cash incentive for grade school students while junior high and senior high school students will get the incentives themselves.
For those who have completed the vaccine and want to join the program, the local government urged the students to register at their barangay health center and respective schools.
Students were reminded to bring their vaccination card.
