HER Excellency Vice President SARA DUTERTE personally visited the wake of Francis Jay Gumikib, a grade 5 student who died on October 2, 2023 in Antipolo City Rizal.
During her visit to the family, Vice President Sara Duterte extended her heartfelt condolences to the mourning family and gave her moral support to cope up with the circumstances they were facing.
Vice President Duterte was also joined by DepEd Undersecretary and Chief of Staff to Office of Secretary Michael Wesley Poa .
Further, the Rizal PNP under the leadership of PCol Rainerio De Chavez , Officer-In-Charge Rizal PPO represented by PLt Col Rederick DP Tonga , DPDA and Chief of Police Antipolo City Police Station, PLTtCol Ryan L Manongdo also expressed their sympathies and provided route security in the area.
The PNP will pledge to continue the investigation and ensure police assistance will be rendered to the family.
