A 35-YEAR-OLD woman and a 16-year-old girl on Friday night were arrested by the police while more than P1.3 million worth of shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in a park in Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
Nabbed were Norjina Sumagina Unte, 35, and alias “Ash,” 16, both of Bgy. Datu Esmael, this city.
Based on a report submitted to Cavite Police Provincial Director Col. Christopher Olazo , joint operatives conducted the entrapment at 6:45 p.m. on Friday at Promenade Park in Gov. Mangubat Avenue, Bgy. Burol Main in Dasmarinas City.
Confiscated from the suspects were more than 200 grams of shabu worth P1, 38 million, a cellphone and the buy-bust money used in the operation.
Charges for violation of Section 5 in relation to Section 26 Pararaph B, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
