A 25-YEAR-OLD man driving a car on Thursday died in a road accident in Bgy. Balagtas, Batangas City.
A report submitted to Batangas Police Provincial Office Director Col. Pedro Soliba identified the victim asCarlos Ellazer Perez, a resident of Pallocan West, Batangas City.
The accident occurred on the Diversion Road in Bgy. Balagtas, Batangas City.
An investigation showed the trailer truck driven by Felix Zabala Jr. was heading towards Batangas Port when it struck the car.
Perez was rushed to Golden Gate General Hospital in Batangas City, where he was declared dead on arrival from severe head and body injuries.
Responding lawmen arrested the truck driver.
