JOINT operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation – Task Force on Illegal Drugs, NBI- Quezon and Quezon Police Provincial Office yesterday arrested 10 drug suspects and seized 1,650 of shabu loaded in three vans in an operation on the national highway in Bgy. Comon, Infanta, Quezon.
According to Quezon police director Col. Joel Villanueva, the operation was led by NBI- Quezon headed by senior agent Eliezer Salcedo.
Arrested were Jaymart Gallardo, 29, of Quezon City; Alvin Ibardo, 41, of Antipolo, Rizal; Reynante Alfuerto, 42; Marvin Gallardo, 39; Eugene Bandoma, 38; Dante Mañoso, 35; Jamelanie Samson, 34; Jenard Samson, 29; Mark Brian Abonita, 26; and Kennedy Abonita, 24; all of Tanay, Rizal.
Infanta police commander Maj. Francis Aldrich Garcia said they intercepted the three white Nissan Urban vans containing 80 sacks of shabu, with an estimated weight of around 1,650 kilograms and worth P10 billion, at 4 a.m. yesterday.
