LAGUNA Governor Sol Aragones officially launched the GOB SOL App on November 5, 2025—a pioneering digital platform that provides free medical check-ups, e-prescriptions, and medicines for every Lagunense.
The newly launched app, currently available for Android users, is designed to make healthcare services more accessible and efficient through digital innovation. In its initial rollout, the GOB SOL App is open to residents of San Pablo, Calamba, Los Baños, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, and Mabitac, with plans to expand to more areas across the province soon.
Through the app, users can easily register, schedule virtual consultations with doctors, and receive digital prescriptions that can be redeemed for free medicines under the Akay ni Gob Botika initiative, a program of the provincial government that ensures accessible maintenance medication for all.
During the launch, Governor Aragones demonstrated how to download the app via the Google Play Store, complete the registration process, and navigate its services. Online consultations with various specialists are currently available every Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., as the system continues to scale up. The launch was streamed live on Facebook, featuring an actual online consultation that showcased how easily users can access healthcare from their mobile devices.
Joining Governor Aragones at the event was former Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Dr. Eric Tayag, who emphasized the value of e-prescriptions in modern healthcare, noting that they are more secure, convenient, and not prone to being misplaced or damaged like traditional paper prescriptions. Also present was Dr. Odilon Inoncillo from the Provincial Health Office, who serves as a key partner in the app’s implementation and coordination with local health units.
“Ang pangako ko talaga, tutulungan natin ayusin ang health system ng Laguna,” Governor Aragones said, reaffirming her dedication to improving healthcare access and delivery. She acknowledged that while the process will take effort and collaboration, it is a step toward a stronger, more responsive provincial health system.
The launch of the GOB SOL App marks a significant milestone in making public healthcare in Laguna smarter and more inclusive, a reflection of Governor Sol Aragones’ commitment to a GOByernong may SOLusyon.
