Camp BGen Vicente P Lim – THE Police Regional Office CALABARZON, will offer “Libreng sakay” to commuters after PISTON and MANIBELA announced its conduct of a nationwide transport strike from April 15 to 16, 2024.
Police Regional Office 4A Regional Director, PBGen Paul Kenneth T Lucas has already sent instructions to all his subordinate units to provide resources to be used for free transportation or “Libreng Sakay” to be utilized in various places of convergence in the region to aid the commuters who might be affected by the said strike on their way to and from work or to other places..
“The overall security, safety, and transport convenience of our citizens is our priority. Rest assured that your PNP is always ready to extend a helping hand” said PBGen Lucas, RD, PRO 4A.
This “Libreng Sakay” initiative was among the directives of the Chief PNP, PGEN ROMMEL FRANCISCO MARBIL for the PNP Regional Directors to ensure maximum deployment of traffic personnel and road safety marshals to prevent possible breakdown of peace and order and ensure the safety of the commuters/passengers.
