OPERATIVES of Anonas Police Station (PS 9) arrested a man for stabbing a police officer assigned to PS 9 at 2:45 PM on October 31, 2023.
Authorities identified the suspect as Brian Boldero, 37 years old and residing at Agham Road, Quezon City.
Basede on initial report at 2:40 PM on the same date, PS 9 operatives swiftly responded to a distress call from a concerned citizen regarding the suspect’s attack on victim Francisco Naquita, which caused Naquita to sustain several injuries at Tent City Pook Arboretum, Brgy. UP Campus. Upon their arrival, the operatives managed to subdue the suspect, but he fiercely resisted and ultimately stabbed one of the police officers.
Subsequently, operatives immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation, which led to the arrest of the suspect and the recovery of a combat knife measuring 5.5 inches in length.
The suspect will be charged with Serious Physical Injury and Direct Assault with Frustrated Homicide and will be referred to the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
