PINAPAYAGAN nang pumasok sa bansang Singapore ang mga Pinoy simula sa Marso 4,ayon sa Singaporean Ministry of Transport.
Matapos isama ang Pilipinas sa kanilang listahan ng Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) program kung saan pinapayagan na ang mga pasahero na pumasok sa Singapore quarantine -free via VTL flights.
Ang Vaccine travel pass (VTP) ng Pinas ay mag-uumpisang buksan simula Marso 1, sa ganap na alas 10 ng umaga sa kanilang bansa (SG time).
Ayon sa sinabi ng Singapore Minister for Transport S ISwaran nitong Pebrero 16, “In late November, when Omicron was first reported, we tightened our border measures to limit our exposure, better understand the new variant, and get more people boosted.
Now that we have greater certainty over the nature of Omicron and the associated public health risks, it is important that we want to resume the safe reopening of our borders to reclaim our position as a global business and aviation hub,”.
“We will be launching new VTLs to Philippines, Israel and Hong Kong and deepen existing VTLs with Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang bagong polisiya ng Singapore para sa mga Pinoy ay kasunod ng pagbubukas ng ating bansa sa mga foreign tourists kabilang ang Singaporeans.
