The Quezon City Government is once again set to connect thousands of jobseekers with meaningful employment through its annual Labor Day Job Fair, happening on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the QC M.I.C.E. Center, City Hall.
This year’s fair will feature around 11,000 job vacancies from nearly 100 private companies and government agencies, covering a wide range of industries and sectors.
“We invite all jobseekers, especially our QCitizens, to take part in this opportunity to jumpstart or advance their careers,” said Mayor Joy Belmonte.
“Through this job fair, we are delivering on our commitment to create a city where every resident has access to decent, meaningful work. In Quezon City, we believe that employment is not just a livelihood—it is empowerment, dignity, and a pathway to a better future,” she emphasized.
To make the application process smoother, a one-stop shop for government services will be available onsite. Jobseekers can register and obtain IDs from SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and PSA (National ID). The QCitizen ID booth will also cater to residents needing their QCID cards. Additionally, NBI and PNP representatives will be present to issue required clearances.
Major employers joining the fair include National Bookstore, Andok’s Litson Corporation, Asia Brewery, Hotel SOGO, Max’s Kitchen, JAC Liner, Robinsons Supermarket, Savemore Market, Classic Savory, SM Hypermarket, SM Supermarket, Solaire Resort North, UnionBank, and Zest-O Corporation, among many others.
Top available roles include customer service representatives, office staff, cashiers, drivers, service crew, sales associates, merchandisers, electricians, encoders, and kitchen staff.
Jobseekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their updated résumés, a valid ID, and to dress professionally for potential on-the-spot interviews. Free résumé printing will also be offered at the venue.
With this event, Quezon City reinforces its commitment to employment accessibility, economic empowerment, and a resilient, inclusive local workforce.
