HOUSE Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Tingog Partylist Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, and Rep. Jude Acidre, distributed a total of 80 welding kits for two batches of scholars on Tuesday, June 18.
In partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), 60 scholars from the Saint Anthony of School and 20 scholars from Xavier Technical Training Center Corp. received welding kits to aid them in their future employment opportunities pursuant to the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).
This initiative highlighted Tingog Partylist’s commitment to sharing practical training opportunities that align with industry needs to promote economic development.
The distribution program was attended by TESDA Quezon City Representative Jerome Ignacio, and Tingog Partylist Representative Denise Geonzon.
Miesha Training Academy President April Nueda also attended for Saint Anthony of School distribution on Tuesday morning and School Administrator Danica Magat for Xavier Training Center Corp. on Tuesday afternoon.
STEP is a community-based training initiative designed to address specific skills needs within communities and promote employment opportunities by enhancing entrepreneurial ventures, self-employment opportunities, and service-oriented activities.
