SANTA CRUZ, LAGUNA — The Provincial Government of Laguna, led by Governor Sol Aragones, rolled out the first 500 doses of free flu vaccines for Capitol employees on October 20, 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to protect the health and well-being of public servants.
The governor herself was the first to receive the flu shot, setting an example of leadership and care for her employees.
According to Dr. Odilon Inoncillo, Officer-in-Charge of the Provincial Information Office, flu vaccines are generally safe and well-tolerated. In rare cases where mild side effects such as fever or arm soreness occur, these can easily be managed with rest, paracetamol, and warm compresses.
The GOByernong may SOLusyon remains committed to prioritizing the well-being of its employees ensuring that those who serve the public are the first to receive care and protection.
Through this initiative, the Provincial Government continues to demonstrate its dedication to public health and compassionate governance. By protecting its own workforce, the GOByernong may SOLusyon strengthens its capacity to deliver efficient, quality service to every Lagunense proving once again that genuine public service begins with genuine care
