LAGUNA — THE “Akay ni Sol Mobile Botika”, a flagship initiative of Governor Sol Aragones under her Gobyernong May Solusyon platform, officially rolled out today, delivering free medical assistance and essential medicines to residents across four municipalities in Laguna.
The Akay ni Sol Mobile Botika program at Barangay Banay-Banay, Katapatan Village in Cabuyao, where the local basketball court overflowed with residents eager to receive much-needed healthcare support. The large turnout underscored the growing need for accessible medical services at the grassroots level.
Among the early beneficiaries was Nanay Reming, a senior citizen and longtime resident of the barangay. She expressed deep gratitude to Governor Aragones for bringing vital medical aid directly to their community.

“Maraming maraming salamat po kay Gob Sol Aragones. Dahil sa programang ito, natutulungan kami sa araw-araw naming pangangailangan sa gamot,” she said.
“Sana po ay magpatuloy ang ganitong klaseng pagtulong, lalo na sa aming matatanda na labis na nangangailangan ng serbisyong medikal at gamot.”
The mobile botika is expected to benefit over 2,000 Lagunenses during its initial run. Following Cabuyao, the medical caravan will make stops in:
San Pedro: Amarillo Street, Sibulog 1 Subdivision, Barangay Nueva
Nagcarlan: Municipal Gymnasium, Poblacion 2
Sta. Cruz: (Location to be announced)
Each site will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, offering residents access to free consultations and a range of essential medicines.
Adding a heartwarming touch to the program, attendees were also treated to free lugaw (rice porridge) while waiting in line—a gesture that reflected the program’s focus on care and compassion.
Governor Aragones expressed her sincere appreciation to the medical teams, volunteers, and local officials who made the launch of the province’s first-ever Mobile Botika possible. She also thanked the residents for their overwhelming support.
“This is just the beginning,” the governor said. “We are committed to bringing reliable, compassionate, and accessible healthcare to every Lagunense. This is the essence of ‘Serbisyong may puso at may aksyon.’”
