Marcos Jr. displays a copy of the Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers or Republic Act 12021 after he signed it into law at the Ceremonial Hall in Malacanang Palace Monday (Sept. 23, 2024), eliciting an applause from Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez and other lawmakers who witnessed the event. Other lawmakers present during the signing ceremony include Sen. Raffy Tulfo, Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr., Sen. Francis Tolentino and Majority Leader Manuel Jose “Mannix” Dalipe.
