THE delegates of the Philippine Experience Program (PEP) were ushered to Villa Escudero Plantation and Resorts in Tiaong, Quezon, for a unique luncheon experience.
Famed for its manmade waterfalls and carabao cart ride, the guests are treated to a sumptuous Filipino buffet lunch, kamayan style, at the Labasin Waterfalls Restaurant.
The plantation spans 800 hectares of coconut trees, theme parks, and other attractions, among others, and the restaurant offers customers a unique dining experience as the food is served beside the huge waterfalls while diners are able to dip their toes in the waters while enjoying their meals.
Other esteemed guests in the luncheon include Gov. Angelina “Doktora Helen” D.L. Tan, Cong. David C. Suarez, Mayor Vincent Arjay M. Mea of Tiaong, and Mayor Orlan A. Calayag of Dolores, Quezon.
\After a sumptous lunch , the delegates of the PEP were entertained by an enthralling folk dance performance at the Coconut Pavillion .
A reflection of the lives of the Filipinos during the pre- colonial and Spanish eras, as well as folk dance rituals in Mindanao, the cultural shows are regularly shown every Friday, weekend and selected holidays.
